Make LOVE your Aim

Meditate for a moment on the words of Romans 12:10, “Be devoted to one another in love.  Honor one another above yourselves.”

Much like on that first day when the charter members of the Madison Church of Christ came together in 1934, let’s look forward and be encouraged.  They were coming out of some challenging times in our society.  And just as they did at the beginning, we challenge you for the rest of 2021 to “Make Love Your Aim.”

Throughout the next 11 months, we challenge you to do something special each month to remind all of us to “Make Love Your Aim.”  Projects will range from a service project, to a card challenge, to devotional time, to a Bible Study.

As the new vaccines take hold, and you begin to feel a little more comfortable gathering in-person, we look forward to having some live events which will allow us to both Love Each Other at church and also to reach out and love our neighbors, both locally and internationally.

We begin NOW with a church wide Bible Study focused on Love.  Did you know there are 4 different types of Love?

Click this link  for a worksheet that challenges you to a scripture reading each day that will help you focus on one of those 4 types of love.

While we want to make love a conscious part of our daily life 365 days a year, February is the month when the whole world seems to think a little more about love especially around February 14th so what better month to kick off our “Make Love Your Aim” initiative?
