Wednesday Update, March 18, 2020

Good Wednesday-

” Cast all of your anxiety on Him for He cares for you. ” 1st Peter 5:7

The Staff and Elders continue to pray for all of our church families.  As the virus threatens our population, the situation changes daily; the elders and staff are trying to stay as up to date as they can.

We wanted to give you an update on some things for the week:

  • We will worship together ONLINE again this Sunday at 9:00am.
  • The Blood Drive will continue to happen at Madison this Sunday. With the dismissal of colleges and schools who host blood drives, local blood drives like the one at Madison are even more crucial.  From the Red Cross:  “Blood donation is a safe process, and people should not hesitate to give and receive blood. At each blood drive, Red Cross employees follow thorough extensive safety protocols.”  Additional procedures such as temperature screening are also being implemented for those who are working and donating.  Please contact Aubrey Miller if you are able to give on Sunday between the hours of 8:00am and Noon.  Her number is 615-585-9238.  We are adhering to a strict appointment schedule for this blood drive.  Thanks!!
  • His Kidz (Madisonhiskidz) and 412 (412studentministries) will both be streaming on Facebook Live this evening at 6:30pm for our kids and teens.  Please visit their pages on Facebook to join in tonight at 6:30pm.  While the kids are having a time of fellowship, we encourage the adults to utilize Right Now Media.  Tommy Cothron has suggested Finding Truth by Francis Chan.  Sign onto Right Now Media and get started, or if you don’t have Right Now Media, sign up
  • The Benevolence Center is closed this week with the exception of Meals on Wheels, however, they will be open next week from 8:30am-11:30am for drive up food boxes.  You can drive up, they will load the box in your car, and you are done.
  • If you are unable to get out, and need groceries, etc, please contact the church.  We have those who are willing to run an errand for you or bring you some groceries.
  • As always, our Elders and Staff are available to pray with you.  Please respond to this email or call the church office if you need someone to pray with you.
  • Here is a link provided by Marty Rothschild containing some of the newest information about COVID-19.

Please continue to pray for our Madison Family, and keep us connected with any needs you or your family may have.

God Bless!
